The Premier Hotel is located a bit further away from Baku downtown on a quiet street in the rich residential area. Many dining, shopping and entertainment venues are within a walking distance. Though if you are up to tourist attractions of Baku then you would need some trasportation to get to city centre. The nearest tube station is Ganjlik. To get to Baku downtown with all the tourist attractions, high streets and mainstream bars and trendy restaurants one would need to make 2-3 stops by underground (Metro), take a bus (15 minutes, 30-40 cents) or catch taxi (5-10 USD). There is a shuttle service provided by the hotel to airport and various locations within Baku.
The Premier Hotel location could be handy for international football fans who visit Baku to watch international games. Hotel is located within walking distance to Tofik Bakhramov Stadium, which is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as a home ground of FK Baku, Neftchi Baku, and the Azerbaijan national football team.

Generally this is a moderately priced hotel with a nice and attentive stuff which want to do the best for you. Location is in a safe area , but it takes some time to go to the center. This is the reason why tourists are scarce there, sometime the hotel might seem to be deserted and feel lonlely as very few guests stay there.
