New list of cultural and historical monuments of Azerbaijan worked out

"Amendments have been introduced to the list of cultural and historical monuments of Azerbaijan and the objects, which have lost their importance, have been excluded from the list".

The due statement was made by Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture and Tourism, APA reports.

He said the developed list is full and complete.

"Protection of all historical and cultural monuments will be supported in Azerbaijan. But we, as a ministry, can only express our protest against the misappropriation of our memorials by Armenians orally or in written. Moreover, we can also collect information about monuments, either destroyed by Armenians or armenized and inform the world community about it.

The Ministry continues its activity in this sphere. We issue various brochures in this connection. They contain information about monuments, which remain on the occupied lands of Western Azerbaijan or are destroyed by Armenians", Garayev said.

The Minister also added that information about cultural heritage of Azerbaijan is always introduced at international meetings.
