The Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry plans to design the site and a common data base on the cultural heritage of Caucasian Albania. This work includes supporting national and international projects, the identifying monuments belonging to the ancient period of Caucasian Albania, and, their research, restoration and protection in all regions of the country will be implemented in this direction, the ministry told.
To familiarize the country and abroad with existing monuments on the territory of Azerbaijan related to the period of Caucasian Albania It is planned to produce promotional materials, to make a film about the heritage of Caucasian Albania, and to organize a photo exhibition, to present the monuments of Caucasian Albania for their further inclusion in the List of World heritage by UNESCO and in this regard to organize international and local events.
The ministry plans to implement a series of projects through international organizations and bilateral cooperation in 2012 to promote cultural and historical heritage of Azerbaijan
