Azerbaijani tourism companies to start applying BSP IATA system since 15 December
Azerbaijan will introduce BSP system of International Air Transport Association (IATA) in stages.
Today at the regular annual conference of Azerbaijan Tourism Association rep of state airlines AZAL, Director of Silkway Тravel company Shirzad Efendiyev said that the companies are given a choice of certain time to start work on BSP system.
" We have studied many countries’ experience applying BSP system and made a decision on gradual introduction of the system. The tourism companies will be provided an opportunity to decide on the term of system introduction. Today letters about transfer to BSP system will be sent to all companies. The companies that respond by 12 December will automatically shift to BSP stokes from 15 December. The ones that do not make a decision on transfer will keep on work on AZAL stokes as before",- Sh. Efendiyev said.
In his words with transfer to the new system all the companies should finish reporting on the old system and provide bank guarantee for at least AZN 50.000 from 15 to 20 December.
