President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva visited 10th Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Exhibition AİTF -2011 and Second Republican Exhibition of Domestic Tourism on Friday.
Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev told the President that 230 companies from 24 countries represent 61 tourism areas while the Second Republican Exhibition of Domestic Tourism is attended by 83 tourism companies from 15 regions of Azerbaijan.
The exhibition is organized by İTE Group plc and Iteca Caspian, Culture and Tourism Ministry in partnership with Turkey and Azerbaijan Airlines. Along with items displaying tourism potential of Turkey, Egypt, Georgia, Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation, Czech Republic, Greece and India, AITF-2011 also features entertainment programs, cooking shows, dances of the peoples of the world, as well as fine art and pottery.
President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the stands, reflecting the tourism potential of different regions of Azerbaijan and foreign countries, as well as stands, reflecting international achievements of the Center for the Azerbaijani National Cuisine.
