Azerbaijan was invited as a guest of honour to the Anfas Hetex Health Spa and Tallasso, Thermal and Medical Tourism Fair opened in Antalya.
Turkish Minister of Public Works and Housing Mustafa Demir, Azerbaijan deputy Minister of Heath Elsevar Agayev, Antalya governor Ahmad Altibarmak, Samsung governor Huseyn Aksoy and others made speaches in the opening ceremony.
Adressing the ceremony, Azeri delegation leader Elsevar Agayev highlighted development of tourism sector in Turkey. He added Azerbaijan pays great attention to expansion of this field.
The fair brought together 600 health tourism companies from 31 countries.
Health tourism companies will hold bilateral meetings to discuss cooperation during the fair.
