President Ilham Aliyev signs order to designate 2011 as Year of Tourism in Azerbaijan
President Ilham Aliyev has today signed an order to announce 2011 as the Year of Tourism in Azerbaijan.
Taking into consideration the need for developing tourism even more and creating favorable conditions for tourism in Azerbaijan, the presidential order set the goal of international recognition of natural monuments and ancient cultural and historical heritage of the country by using tourism resources effectively.
The Cabinet of Ministers will prepare an action plan during a month to present to the Azerbaijani President.
