The prospects of tourism development were discussed at the meeting of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev with heads of the tourism companies and hotels.
Accoridng to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the meeting was held in connection of the instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to declare 2011 the year of tourism. The meeting participants discussed positive trends in tourism development in the country, creation of infrasructure, preliminary plan of measures, in connection with the Year of Tourism.
The main regulations and goals, as well as the active participation in international tourism exhibitions were defined for heads of hotels and tourism companies. Problems in this sphere were also discussed.
