Azerbaijan and Jordan discuss cultural relations

Azerbaijan`s deputy minister of culture and tourism Adalat Valiyev has met Wednesday with Secretary General of the Jordan Ministry of Culture Jiris Samavi. The meeting focused on current situation of Azerbaijan-Jordan cultural cooperation, as well as preparation to Azerbaijani Culture Days in Amman to be held next month.

Samavi stressed King Abdullah II is interested in development of relations between the two countries. Valiyev, in turn, praised expansion of relations between the two countries, adding “Azerbaijan is also interested in development of ties with Jordan.”

“Art and culture is one of the bridges to establish peace and security among the nations”, he emphasized.
