Information bank of non-material cultural heritage will be established in Azerbaijan
The Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev ordered a creation of Information bank of non-material cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in order to preserve and promote it worldwide. Ministry plans that all those involved in non-material cultural heritage (art professionals, folklore performers, local history researchers, etc) will have to create a portfolio that will include information on historical activity and artistic achievements in Azerbaijan.
The main objective of portfolio compilation is integration of Azeri folk art into world community, presentation of Azeri cultural heritage worldwide, promotion of local artists and their achievements.
