1st International Azerbaijan Investment Summit 2009 to be held in London

Adam Smith Conferences has announced the 1st International Azerbaijan Investment Summit. The Conference will be held on 8-9 December 2009 at Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel, London, UK with the official support of the Azerbaijan Embassy in the United Kingdom.

The programme of the 1st International Azerbaijan Investment Summit includes 10 informational sessions that will provide a unique and timely information available only on this forum, including such sectors as: oil and gas, finance, telecommunications and information technology, agriculture and food industry, construction, real estate and transport infrastructure.

Main subjects to be discussed at the International Azerbaijan Investment Summit include economic development and macroeconomic stability of Azerbaijan, analysis of the investment climate, banking sector of Azerbaijan, including priorities and current status, the role of the financial sector in Azerbaijan economic growth support; development, production, exploration and transportation of oil and gas; latest economical trends in Azerbaijan and developments; investment opportunities in such sectors as agriculture, telecommunications, real estate and construction, power generation and transport infrastructure; Azerbaijan trade.

1st International Azerbaijan Investment Summit aims to promote international business relationships with one of the emerging economies, which has enormous economic and investment potential – with Azerbaijan, and to inform the international community of investors about the business opportunities in the Azerbaijan Republic.

The Forum gives an opportunity to meet and contact chief executives from all main enterprises that work in Azerbaijan, both international and domestic.
