The Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition (CIPS) will be conducted in Baku, Azerbaijan on October 19-22, 2011 simultaneously with BakuTel. CIPS was established in 2008 by Iteca.

Azerbaijan security market
In 2008, expences on defense and security in Azerbaijan amounted to about $ 1,850 billion. In 2003-2008 Azerbaijan expenditures in this sector amounted to $ 4.5 billion and by 2009 this figure will reach $ 7 billion.
According to the Chief Security Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan the number of protected sites for 2008 has increased by 18% and reached the number of 3,008.
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan started the implementation of the project "Safe City". According to the project, the city streets in crowded places will be equipped with surveillance cameras and other security systems.
